Lacklustre service at Shokudo is however forgivable since they only started business not long ago. They explained it was some computer system error causing orders to be mixed up.
Their concept of Japanese-Italian cuisine looked exactly like a Waruku clone. Inevitably, they are pitting themselves against a strong competitor and therefore we are going to have higher expectations the moment we step in.
Carefully scrutinising the menu, we find that the mains are simply a choice of 5 toppings (beef, prawn, fish, seafood, vege), 4 sauce and 3 noodles. You can do the permutations. Without much variety, I went for the Ebi Tempura spaghetti in Waku sauce.
Then L have this Unagi and Prawn Combo Fettucini in Waku Basil instead.
